Large Spanish vase in Talavera style, hand-painted, adorned with a landscape and dragon motif handles, mid-20th century. Large ornamental vase (amphora type) with a fluted body (featuring a relief of segments). Talavera/Puente del Arzobispo style. Although it does not bear a visible signature at the base (common for handmade pieces from the mid-20th century), the "dragons" decoration on the handles and the palette of blues are characteristic of this region. The central scene depicts a genre landscape, hand-painted in cobalt blue on a tin-glazed white background. It features a church or bell tower in a European rural style, with surrounding houses and vegetation. The handles are adorned with two zoomorphic figures representing dragons or mythological creatures facing each other, a decorative element of great aesthetic value. The neck and base are pierced, with floral motifs at the base. Estimate: mid-20th century (circa 1950-1970). A natural patina due to age is visible on the base, and slight crazing in the glaze confirms its age. The object is in very good condition, except for a small repair on one side of the base (see photo). Dimensions: 42 cm in height X 19 cm in width X 16 cm in diameter. As these are antique items, they may show signs of wear. The photographs are an integral part of the description and assessment of the condition. *Orders will be sent to the nearest collection point; if not possible, they will be delivered to your home.
