Vintage “abalone & brass” ice bucket (Mexico, 1960s-70s)

Superb Mexican ice bucket - body entirely inlaid with abalone plates forming an iridescent mosaic, patinated brass mount; comes with its original tongs. Style: mid-century / Hollywood Regency, in the vein of the Taxco workshops (los castillo, spratling). Dimensions: ø 14 cm × h 15 cm (bucket) - l. 19 cm (tongs). Materials: gilded brass, abalone mother-of-pearl. Condition: very good; some micro-scratches on the brass, homogeneous patina, intact mother-of-pearl. Clean interior, ready for use. Origin: "made in mexico" (stamp under the base). Perfect for a bar cart, a coffee table or a chic seaside decor.
