Vintage commode from the 1960s with tapered legs.

Beautiful warm golden oak shades for this vintage 1960s chest of drawers with tapered legs and rounded corners. The slanted drawers form a staircase and are fitted with black Bakelite handles, while the body rests on four long tapered legs known as compass legs. The placement of the drawers is interchangeable to play with the colours. The photos are taken in natural daylight, so the colour gradients are less visible indoors. In excellent condition inside and out, the chest of drawers has been renovated, sanded, and varnished with a waxed finish, and is very stable, with drawers that slide well without sticking. The four top edges of the drawers have been replaced with new ones. Please note that there are two minor marks on the top, see photos.
