How original is this egg-cup that takes its head! And yet, a boiled egg is anything but a headache! Made of turned stoneware, with lovely white, beige and caramel colour effects. It is signed underneath, indented in the material, with the initials gl that I managed to identify after a fairly thorough investigation and at the end of which I had the confirmation by the ceramist herself: it comes from the Lizot Griselain workshop in Pezenas, shaped by Jean Pierre Griselain and glazed by Marie Jo Lizot. It is glazed stoneware fired at 1300°. It doesn't date from the 70's as I initially thought but it's "only" about twenty years old. It is in very good condition, no defects to report. It is 10 cm tall, the base has a diameter of 7 cm, the egg cup part has an inner diameter of 4 cm.
