Vintage Hollywood Regency Wheat Sheaf Gold Gilt Metal 5 Light Chandelier

Vintage Hollywood Regency Wheat Sheaf Gold Gilt Metal 5 Light Chandelier.Modeled after the iconic gerbe de blé (wheat sheaf) designs popularized by Coco Chanel and crafted by legendary mid-century lighting designers like Hans Kögl and Maison Masca, this piece is a true showstopper. It features beautifully detailed, sculpted metal wheat stalks and long, flowing leaves bundled together at the center like a freshly harvested field. The chandelier has five scrolled arms each ending with a leaf shaped candle drip pan and the candle drips are in white with noticible age related wear which adds to the vintage character. The chandelier hangs from a four link chain with a cup style ceiling fitter. The warm, weathered finish gives it an authentic, rich patina that adds instant texture and character to any space. The light has its original twin core wiring and takes 5 small screw in bulbs E14s. The chandelier is in good vintage condition with age-related marks and wear consistent with its age and character. Some of the stems have slight bends which adds to the vintage character of the piece. The candle drips have wear around the tops with some crumbling. There is a line connector at the top of the chandelier which joins the wire. As with all vintage lighting, we highly recommend having this fixture inspected and installed by a certified electrician to ensure safety and compatibility with your home's wiring.
