Rare Vintage Mat'cel Armchair Bed – 1960s/70s

Superb convertible armchair (chaise longue) from the French brand Mat'cel, a genuine vintage piece from the 1960s. Compact and clever design, perfect for a studio or as an extra bed with a true retro look. The armchair unfolds very easily to transform into a comfortable single bed thanks to its original polyurethane foam mattress. Features and Condition: Upholstery: Bright red faux leather (skai) in good condition and very soft textured grey fabric with a "sheepskin" effect. Structure: Wooden splayed legs at the front and a sturdy metal frame for the bed part. Comfort: Spring suspension (see photos) still quite firm.
