A rare mid-century modern double wall sconce designed by Sigvard Bernadotte for IFÖ, Sweden, circa 1950s. This elegant bathroom wall lamp features a beautifully glazed porcelain backplate in pale mint green, paired with two white opal glass shades for soft, diffused light. The fresh colour and clean, functional design make this a desirable and uncommon example of Scandinavian lighting from the period. Designed by Sigvard Bernadotte, the former Prince of Sweden and a leading industrial designer, the lamp combines beauty with practicality. Its sleek lines, refined proportions, and distinctive colour palette remain contemporary and suit bathrooms, powder rooms, hallways, or dressing areas. The lamp uses two Edison screw bulbs and is ready to be mounted, either vertically or horizontally. Dimensions: width 30 cm, height 8 cm, projection 12 cm. A rare and highly collectible example of Swedish mid-century lighting, combining exceptional design, quality craftsmanship, and a beautifully preserved original finish. Requires professional hard-wiring and is suitable for wet areas such as bathrooms, with an IP44 rating.
