Vintage two-seater sofa, German Democratic Republic, 60s, fully restored, yellow fabric, chrome

The sofa, commonly known as the shell, was produced in the non-existent area of the German Democratic Republic in the 1960s. It underwent a complete renovation, which consisted of removing the old material, sponges, belts and insects. The metal frame was then cleaned, protected against corrosion and re-painted. The next step was to pull on the new belts, put on a sponge and put on a sheep. The culmination of the renovation was the upholstery with a beautiful material with stain-resistant properties. The feet were cleaned and re-painted with matt black varnish. Metal feet polished. The furniture looks great. All stages of the renovation were carried out taking into account the original production process.
