Are Tramp Art style mirror, typical of 19th century folk art, probably of French origin. The frame, meticulously hand-carved in solid wood, features a regular and structured pyramidal motif, enriched with small metal cabochons and decorative mirror inlays. This is a remarkable piece of craftsmanship, whose sculpted relief creates a very expressive play of light. The original glass shows the natural alterations of the tin characteristic of antique mercury mirrors, without detracting from its readability or charm. The frame is in excellent overall condition, with some wear and patina consistent with age, including traces of oxidation on some metal cabochons. Overall dimensions: 69 cm high by 50 cm wide. Frame thickness: approximately 5 cm. An authentic and decorative piece, rare on the market, ideal for integrating a rustic, bohemian or cabinet of curiosities atmosphere.
