Antique Chinese Jardinière Stand

An excellent piece of 19th century chinese furniture to display vases or as an occasional side table. This fine quality antique jardiniere stand features a carved beaded circular top with a pink marble insert which is supported by cabriolet legs bearing ball and claw feet. Hand carved in rosewood, this stand features intricate fretwork with elaborate pierced and carved foliate decoration between the four supports which all feature mythical beast masks. Carved from a deep rich coloured rosewood, the condition is very good throughout. There is no worm or damage and the carving is complete throughout. The unit stands even on its 4 feet.
