Set of 2 antique flat plates in fine earthenware (Terre de Fer), stamped on the back U&C Sarreguemines, model "Carmen". They date from the late 19th century / early 20th century (Art Nouveau period). Characteristics: Decoration: Beautiful monochrome Japonese motif in dark red / deep pink (burgundy). The decoration is very poetic with flowering branches, grasses, and two stunning dragonflies in flight. Condition: In perfect condition. The earthenware is very shiny. There are no cracks, no chips, just a few stains (see photos). An ideal duo to complete your service or for a chic country-style / vintage brocante table decoration.
