Superb set of 6 Rainer Daumiller chairs in solid pine, dating from the 1970s. An iconic model of Scandinavian design from this period, characterised by robust construction and generous, rounded shapes: Cylindrical solid wood legs, - thick seats with rounded edges and wide curved backs. The solid pine features a beautiful natural grain, particularly visible on the backs, as well as a warm honey-coloured patina. The knots and natural variations in the wood add a lot of character to the whole. The 6 chairs form a very beautiful set, both sculptural and functional, ideal around a large dining table. Overall vintage condition is good, with some signs and marks of use consistent with their age and visible in the photos.
