Engraving oiseua parrot the amazon male jacques barraband

Framed engraving of a parrot, "the male amazon". Inscription also at the bottom of the work "barraband pt" and "imprimerie de langlois". The bird is depicted perched on a tree branch. The engraving is framed in a glass and wooden frame. The frame is of the "marie-louise" type in khaki green fabric. Jacques barraband (1768-1809) was a french painter, draughtsman and illustrator, specializing in zoology. Note: the engraving and the frame are in a very good condition, some very slight traces of moisture, small yellow dots barely visible on the white paper (see photo). Frame dimensions: Height: 34cm.
