Painting - a very beautiful work of copying (second half of the last century) done in oil on canvas based on van Gogh's studies of the "wheat fields with irises" (in the vicinity of Arles). Handmade copy, quality work - this is not a print on canvas but a genuine exercise in painting on a large format canvas. Dimensions of the frame: 55 / 65 cm. Context of the work: "a meadow full of very yellow buttercups, a ditch with iris plants with green leaves and purple flowers, in the background the town, a few grey willows – a band of blue sky. If the meadow is not cut, I would like to redo this study because the subject was very beautiful and I had difficulty finding the composition. A small town surrounded by a countryside entirely blooming with yellow and purple. You know, it would be a lovely Japanese dream. Having asked for the transport price of the shipment which was sent by slow speed, it will be 7 francs at the station in Paris.
