4 Vintage Scandinavian Armchairs – Erik Buch. Danish armchair made of solid wood, designed by Erik Buch. The line is typical of mid-century Scandinavian design: sculpted armrests with rounded ends, a structure with softened angles, a slightly curved backrest, and tapered legs. The wood has a beautiful warm patina with reddish-brown reflections. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a textured beige fabric flecked with brown, original to the piece. Dimensions. Height: 81 cm. Width: 48 cm. Depth: 52 cm. Condition. Good overall condition, with a healthy and stable structure. It shows signs of use typical of a vintage piece: Patina on the wood and small marks on the armrests and legs. Original fabric with some signs of wear: fraying at the top of the backrest, and the edge of the seat detaching at the back. Restoration of the upholstery is possible to give it a like-new appearance. A characterful armchair that will find its place around a dining table, at a desk, or in a reading nook.
