Vintage red wooden bistro chairs THONET 1950

Beautiful oak bistro chairs by Michael Thonet, a German-Austrian industrial cabinetmaker. He used a process to bend the wood and was the first to industrialize its production. Thonet chairs constitute a unique and original collection and are highly sought-after. These two chairs, with their impeccable finishes, are in relatively good condition. They are particularly original, with their red seat and the curves characteristic of the "Thonet" style. The two chairs resemble each other but are not entirely identical.
