Evolving coffee table by Pierre Guariche – La Plagne – 1970s

Modular coffee table designed by Pierre Guariche, originally for the layout of the La Plagne ski resort in the 1970s. It perfectly embodies the designer's modernist vision: intelligent, functional furniture adapted to contemporary lifestyles. Its structure in white lacquered bent plywood, combined with a central wooden element, reveals both a technical and aesthetic approach. Designed to optimise space, this evolving piece offers multiple uses: coffee table, storage element, or supplementary module. Overall good condition. Light signs of use, consistent with age. Small marks on the lacquer and edges, without impact on the structure. Beautiful patina.
