Vintage Sarreguemines compartmentalized plate model 5041 with Japanese decoration

Art Deco elegance and Japanese charm with this rare rectangular three-compartment plate, signed Sarreguemines (model 5041), dated 1920–1930. Made of ironstone, it features a superb Japanese-style floral decoration in a harmony of deep blue, warm rust, and light blue foliage. This piece reflects the oriental influence that was very fashionable in the interwar period: simple lines, refined patterns, and a contrasting palette. It combines practicality (three compartments ideal for elegant table service) and refined decoration, emblematic of Sarreguemines production at this time. Stamped Sarreguemines France 5041. Length 28 cm, width 20.5 cm, height 3 cm. Very good vintage condition, a chip on the rim under the bottom and a mini chip on the edge of one of the compartments, light normal signs of use. A piece that is both practical and decorative in a chic brocante style.
