Black metal side table with scoubidou, 1950s

Charming little side table with a typical 1950s design. With its graphic lines and airy silhouette, it will bring a decidedly retro, Mid-Century, or industrial touch to your interior. Its black tubular metal structure features lovely angled compass legs (hairpin leg style). The top is highlighted by raised edges, adorned with a delicate pastel yellow woven trim that adds a bright contrast and a true visual lightness. Ultra-versatile, it will ideally find its place in a living room as a coffee table or as an end table. The removable top is made of veneered wood covered with yellow checkered vinyl. Height of the top with edges is 47cm. An authentic vintage piece in good overall condition. The metal has a lovely original patina. The weaving is well tensioned.
