J1 lamppost by Joseph André Motte for Disderot. This copy dates from 1964. The j1 is a true success story for french design. Elegant but very functional. It illuminates as much as it is pleasant to look at. In very good structural condition. Note a very slight shine on the top of the lampshade. Difficult to photograph because it merges with the rest. This is a lack in thickness. The edge is not damaged. Works perfectly.
