Haviland Limoges porcelain jug by Sandoz

Hard porcelain jug or pitcher from the "perruche" series, produced in 1916 by the Limoges manufacturer Théodore Haviland. Designed by the Swiss artist Édouard Marcel Sandoz (1881-1971), an animal sculptor. Light green, white, and light orange glaze. Very good condition, with some scratches from use and a firing defect in the form of a stain on the white porcelain (see photos). The stopper is missing. Signature of Sandoz, stamp of the Haviland manufacturer, and intaglio marks of both names. Dimensions: height 16 cm, 17.5 cm X 7 cm. Weight without packaging 420 g. Shipped in recycled packaging.
