Mid-Century Modern Swedish "Yellow Skies" Vintage Landscape Oil Painting, Framed

Yellow skies. Size: 61 X 70 cm (including frame) Oil on board. A dramatic and atmospheric mid century landscape painting, executed in oil onto board. This picturesque composition of nature presents a row of houses in an open field, under a stunning sunrise yellow sky. Upon first glance, our eyes are drawn to the darker moody shades of the houses that punctuate the the middle of the painting. Gentle unrestrained brushstrokes fill the canvas, skilfully capturing the fleeting nature conditions during sunrise, as well a unique ‘hazy’ effect to the painting. This oil on board is housed in a beautiful wood frame with an inner silver window and bevelling. Both painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
