Teak sideboard by Arne Vodder for Sibast, 50/60

Height: 33.08 in. (84 cm). Width: 98.43 in. (250 cm). Depth: 19.69 in. (50 cm). This large sideboard, model 76, was designed by famous architect and furniture designer Arne Vodder in the 60s for Sibast in Denmark. The sideboard is made out of teak and contains 5 drawers that show the characteristic integrated pulls are laid out with black fabric. Two sliding roll or tambour doors on each side with slender vertical pulls can be opened easily to use the big storage compartments with shelves. Another lovely detail is the pull out writing shelf covered with black leather that is hidden above the drawers. The sideboard has been completely restored and refinished. It shows only minor signs of wear and tear. There are two scratches on the top that have been professionally restored and a drawer that has been glued, all hardly visible, nothing that detracts. Overall appearance presents beautifully.
