Writing desk often referred to as a secretary or slope-front desk in English. The sloping flap (upper part) opens downwards to form a horizontal work surface. It rests on two pull-out supports that extend thanks to the two small wooden buttons visible on the sides of the drawers. It features two upper drawers and a large two-door cabinet at the bottom, providing generous storage space. It is made of mahogany and mahogany veneer with intricate detailing on the flap and the lower doors, typical of quality cabinetry. This is a style inspired by classic designs often associated with English styles such as Chippendale or Hepplewhite. Given the finish and hardware, it is a quality piece from the second half of the 20th century. Notable features include bronze-finished swan-neck handles and detailed mouldings on the lower door panels. Ideal for occasional remote work. A key is provided for opening the doors. It is possible to sell it with its display cabinet in another listing at the time of publication. Width 102/97, depth 36, height 101.
