Chairs (2U) Philippe Starck

The famous costes armchair by philippe starck, ebony color. Edition Aleph. Costes is an armchair that marked in 1984 the beginning of the collaboration of the child prodigy with driade, and his consecration in the olympus of design. With a simple design, an enveloping wooden shell and three metal legs, costes immediately established himself as an icon of twentieth-century design, sold in millions of copies, copied many times and present in any contemporary design collection. Each of them has a polyurethane seat cushion covered in black leather and a base in black steel tube. These two chairs (1st hand) have served as visitor chairs in an architectural firm since 1989. The edges are slightly damaged (see photos) W 47.5 X d 58 X h 80 cm. H seated 47 cm.
