Vintage triangular stool made of solid wood with a straw seat from 1950.
Vintage low stool with a triangular seat made of woven straw, constructed from solid wood. Its base features a particularly decorative design: wide curved legs, traditional joinery, and turned stretchers connecting the sides. The small cut-out clover shapes are a characteristic detail of this handcrafted piece. The seat showcases a dense straw weaving that forms a regular geometric pattern. The material retains a beautiful honey tone, with signs of use and some frayed fibres visible up close. With its low silhouette and rustic character, this stool can serve as an extra seat, a small side table, a footstool, or a decorative support. Dimensions: H 36 cm; triangular seat, sides of approximately 26 cm; maximum width of the base approximately 50 cm. Dating: circa 1950, estimation based on construction and stylistic vocabulary. No identifiable signature or manufacturer's mark is visible. Therefore, a precise attribution to a creator or manufacturer cannot be made. Condition: good structural condition with patina and signs of use.
