Suspension Hydra 2 Space Age Danish mid-century by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup, 1960s

Vintage design. Elegant pendant light from the Danish manufacturer Fog & Mørup, designed by Jo Hammerborg in the 1960s. A minimalist design. The lamp body has a flat cylindrical shape. The cylindrical base dissolves into the top of the panels arranged in parallel. The slices serve as reflectors and diffuse indirect light into the room. The interior is surrounded by a chrome-coloured cover, with the reflective surface visible through the window openings. The underside is closed off by a removable cap. A translucent diffuser disc is inserted into the lower opening.
