Tuareg dagger "Telek" from the beginning of the 20th century

Superb tuareg dagger most certainly from niger. The ethnic group that made this weapon would probably be the kel gress. It is a piece of 25cm long and about 250g. This magnificent antique and rare weapon is today a decorative piece sought after by collectors and lovers of ethnic art. In the past, these daggers were used daily for various purposes or during frequent wars between tribes.
