Office cabinet magic box designed in the late 1920s and published in the 50s 60s by mummenthaler and meier. This piece of furniture with an amazing design is nicknamed magic box because it reveals a whole workstation office when it is open, closed it is a cabinet. Their system, very ingenious, was inspired by old trunks. It comes in the form of a trunk or small cupboard in teak veneer closed by its original key, which opens onto a desk with a multitude of storage, a desk tray (height 70 cm) under which you can find a drawer with key and a large shelf. Above the desk tray, a built-in retractable light that works. Note, a trace on the retractable light (see photos) and traces of uses on the top of the cabinet once closed. Everything is original and everything is functional. Supplier label paris 17. When unfolded, the desk is 167 cm wide, 114 cm high and 75 cm deep with the desk top open. Closed, the cabinet is 83 cm wide, 114 cm high and 56 cm deep.
