Smoking chair - napoleon iii. Old smoker's chair called "smoker" in oak carved with the attributes of the smoker. Tapestry with flower decoration. See the photos that are part of the description. H 87x45x46 cm +/- Smoker's chair, also called smoker, low chair with large back on which one sat straddling to smoke the cigar, cigarette or pipe, especially present in the photographic workshops of the second half of the nineteenth century allowing to hold the pose with a cigarette or pipe the time of the photo (long exposure at the time). Excellent condition, barely used with minimal signs of wear.
