Watchmaker's furniture

This small piece of furniture belonged to a watchmaker from the annean region, it was sold to an antique dealer from whom we bought it. We do not know the exact date of manufacture, however, because of its patina and style we think it dates from the 60s and 70s. It consists of 6 drawers, 3 of which have multiple separations (top drawers). The other three are of different sizes. It is plated oak with a beautiful patina that brings out the veins of the wood. The front of the drawers is made of raw oak, the inside plywood with softwood separations. There are two small holes (or 5 mm), probably due to its old use of workshop furniture, on the top side near the top drawer. This does not affect its use or style. It was waxed and then lustrous for sale. Ideal in a vintage/industrial interior we used it both as a bedside as well as as extra storage on a console.
