Large oval barbotine dish with relief decoration of ivy leaves and stylised foliage on a woven basket imitation background. Work from the late 19th century or early 20th century, in the spirit of French productions from Saint-Clément, Onnaing, or Sarreguemines. The decoration features significant modelling work with beautiful reliefs and a green and brown polychromy characteristic of the large decorative barbotines from this period. Can be used as a decorative dish or hung on the wall. Dimensions: H 31 X W 37 cm X D 5 cm. Condition: Generally good condition. Light signs of use on the glaze. Patina of time and micro-cracks. No major defects observed such as cracks or chips. Careful shipping possible.
