Lobster Platter and SIX Lobster Forks. Lobster Serving Set.

A beautiful, large, lobster-shaped, serving platter and six lobster forks/ lobster picks. Ideal for elegant, fine dining table settings. The platter is the perfect centrepiece for serving a beautifully prepared lobster. It would also be a wonderful party or buffet piece, for serving stylish seafood. The platter measures 59cms/ 23¼" X 28cms/ 11", at it's widest, and weighs 700gms / 1.54 lbs. The head, claws and tail are exquisitely detailed. It is in great condition, with no dents. It has a few light surface scratches, consistent with use, but nothing at all to detract from its beauty or functionality. The lobster forks have a lovely central, oval, "thumb" hold and are narrow with two tiny tines, used to extract meat from joints, legs, claws, and other small parts of a lobster at one end, and a "scoop" end for scooping out meat from inside the lobster at the other. They are also perfect for crab and crayfish. They have a raised lobster motif in the centre. Each fork measures 22.5cms/ 8¾" long. The six forks weigh 120gms / 4.3ozs altogether. This stylish set would look great on any table adding a touch of french elegance. French fine dining at its best!.
