A Christofle silver-plated milk jug. Transat pattern by Luc Lanel, featuring the spout and handle (with ivory insulator) in the typical shapes of this model. Designed for the first-class dining rooms of the ocean liner Normandie in 1935, but this particular jug is not stamped with the CGT (Compagnie Générale Transatlantique) mark. In superb condition with only a few minor scratches. Height 9 cm, diameter 7.5 cm.
