Vintage industrial flexible floor lamp "ki-e-clair" 1950

Very nice vintage floor lamp from the 1950s. Ki-e-clair brand. In chromed steel and aluminium lampshade. Flexible. Adjustable stem from 130 to 190 cm. A ki-é-klair floor lamp. While the workshop and architect lamps from the Asnières-based company are still quite common (their manufacturing quality having helped them survive the decades...), this floor lamp is just as rare as it is interesting. Adorned with the truncated cone diffuser no. 210, the chromed stem - partially flexible - of the architect's lamp and a refined tightening screw, it is particularly elegant. It was probably intended for domestic use or an office. In short, this luminaire combines the aesthetic requirements of today's domestic design with the pragmatic constraints of professional lighting of its time. Its rarity allows us to imagine the commercial unpopularity it encountered, while the interest it arouses today testifies to the evolution of tastes.
