Titled in the artist's hand on the back: "A Funny Rock 'n Roll of Trolls in Vitrolles", this 80 × 80 cm work revisits the famous Rocher de Vitrolles and its chapel Notre-Dame-de-Vie with great chromatic freedom. A particularly expressive composition, driven by a vibrant, luminous, and swirling Fauvist palette, characteristic of the artist's universe, nicknamed "the Van Gogh of Valbonne".
