Antique brocade by Jules Vieillard Bordeaux blue & white – Ironstone, floral decoration – 19th century

Very pretty antique jug from the Jules Vieillard factory in Bordeaux, featuring an elegant blue floral design on a white background. A charming piece with an unusual shape that is particularly decorative, ideal as a vase, on a shelf in an old kitchen, or in a chic country decor. The stamp on the reverse corresponds to a production by Jules Vieillard Bordeaux from the 19th century. Its generous silhouette and covering decoration give it a beautiful presence. A lovely antique piece from Bordeaux, decorative and increasingly sought after, especially in this uncommon jug shape. Overall good condition for its age. An old restoration is present on the spout due to a reattached chip (visible in the photos). The repair is somewhat old but remains relatively discreet.
