Large sideboard with flame mahogany veneer

Beautiful Directoire / Empire sideboard (circa 1795-1810): • Flamed mahogany veneer. • Lion head handles with rings (bronze). • Twisted side columns. • Large moulded cornice. • Very symmetrical facade. Construction: • In two removable parts (top and bottom). • Solid wood structure with mahogany veneer. • Side drawers for cutlery and table linen. The upper part was used to display crockery, while the lower part was for storage.
