Glass table manufactured in the 1980's in Japan. The table doesn't have an attribution mark and is attributed to Yuzuru Yamakawa. The minimalist postmodern form of the base of the table is made of steel wire and rattan details. The structure is very sturdy and made to last. The freestanding top of the table is made of rectangular shaped faceted glass with cropped edges. This table can be used as a dining table or as a desk. With a different size glass top it can be converted into a console table. The table is in good vintage condition with just light cosmetic wear. Yuzuru Yamakawa was a Japanese architect he "designed and worked with rattan for over 40 years. Loved by Japanese and European markets alike, his designs have stood the test of time. His passion for the material is evident in his designs, which are not only beautiful but functional, with an emphasis on ergonomics.".
