Mirror frame old 80x68 cm wood and stucco restyled black and gold

Beautiful old frame in wood and stucctuc, with a moulding of bay leaves and another beautiful golden molding, finely crafted with acanthus leaves. Formerly gilded with leaf, it lost gilding on its external moulding and had suffered poor storage and a few small shocks around the edge. The wood of the frame also worked and twisted slightly (spread and shift). A refurbishment being impossible without damage any more, it was restyled with black acrylic paint dull which enhances the gilding of the internal molding in acanth sheets, and gives it a chic look. It has become more attractive in its new function of a mirror (back in isorel). To hang (a hook fixed horizontally) or to pose. It measures 80 x 68 cm and 5 cm thick and weighs 8.4 kg.
