A beautiful and very rare lamp base from around 1980. Made in France in the design studios of designer François Chatain, best known for his iconic pebble lamps. This minimalist model is made of red and black anthracite glazed earthenware, featuring a square base (18x18x3.5 cm) supporting an openwork sphere. The whole is topped with a brass stem and socket. Total height: 42 cm (stem and socket included), diameter: 36 cm, and cord length: 150 cm.
