Mirror sun wood gold leaf 50 cm

Elegant sun mirror with double shelves in solid wood. The mirror was carved and decorated with gold leaf, an arts and crafts technique that involves depositing thin gold leaf once the mirror is carved. The mirror dates from the mid-twentieth century and is in excellent condition (no branch is missing or damaged). The ice is in perfect condition. Sun mirrors have decorated churches since the Renaissance and have been brought up to date in post-war interiors. The photos are eloquent, its shape is superb. The leaf gilding is in perfect condition and provides magnificent reflections. The sculpture of the sun's rays is delicate, finely striated and worked. The wall hanger is installed.
