Tall two-body cupboard by Drevotex Zamberk 1977

Vintage sideboard from former Czechoslovakia, dating from the 1960s/70s, specifically 1977. A particularly interesting piece due to its highly functional architecture and typical aesthetic of modernist furniture from Eastern Europe. The furniture consists of a lower section offering ample closed storage as well as three drawers, topped by an upper section with several storage spaces. The central part is designed as a display cabinet with a door on the left, a sliding glass panel on the right, and glass and mirror shelves at the back, ideal for showcasing crockery, glassware, or decorative objects. The opaxit black glass (deep true black glass) is also noteworthy. The upper glass section with an adjustable shelf will allow for the display of trinkets, pottery, and books. The warm-toned wood veneer particularly highlights the wood grain and adds a lot of character to the whole piece. A very beautiful piece of Czechoslovak furniture, both decorative and extremely practical, that will easily find its place in a vintage, modernist, or contemporary interior. Origin: Czechoslovakia.
