Naturalist Art Deco vase

Art Deco vase in blown transparent glass, decorated with acid engraving and sandblasted at the base. The naturalistic decoration depicts a bird in flight, presumably a hummingbird, surrounded by stylised flowers and foliage. The frosted, opaque glass base contrasts with the clear, finely engraved body of the vase. Its shape is elegant and its decoration delicate. Likely origin Czechoslovakia. Unsigned, in perfect condition. Dimensions: base and neck diameter 7 cm, belly 10 cm, height 17 cm.
