Formica and wood dessert table on wheels

This very beautiful serving trolley has many advantages! It is practical as it is mounted on wheels and has two sturdy, easy-to-clean, stain-resistant formica shelves. It is original because formica often rhymes with thin chrome or gold metal, and sometimes with the idea that it is a low-quality piece of furniture, but here it has a beautiful solid light wood base with splayed legs that give it an almost Scandinavian look. It is robust, with thick wood and side reinforcements, which also makes it quite heavy (10 or 15 kg) for its size, thus requiring sturdy wheels. Additionally, it has undeniable vintage charm with the lovely light yellow colour of its formica. It must date from the 1950s or 60s. This serving trolley is in generally good condition, solid, with formica in very good condition, free from stains or peeling, functional wheels, and black plastic trims present throughout. However, it does show some signs of its age: corrosion on the wheels, mainly in the body of the wheels; I have removed some with fine steel wool, but it can be improved with a bit more elbow grease! The wheels turn well when empty, but given the weight of the piece, they turn more or less well depending on the texture of the floor. The tread is in good condition. The varnish on the wood shows signs of aging, with some missing spots or abrasions in places. This is quite acceptable, but this piece of furniture deserves to have the varnish redone one day. For now, I am offering it as is, but it is likely that I will take care of it when I have the time. The wood has a few small various marks, and the black plastic trim has rare marks or barely visible abrasions. This serving trolley measures 70 cm in height, and the top shelf measures 68 cm by 51 cm.
