Vintage 1960s globe, Girard Barrère glass world map - 36 cm

Antique world map lamp made of French glass, paper, and black lacquered metal by Girard et Barrère, circa 1960, in good condition. The map is patinated, but the colors are still vibrant and it shows some wear, a particularly significant mark in the Pacific Ocean south of Mexico. The black lacquered metal base is clean, and the two caps are in place. It measures 36 cm in height, 26 cm in diameter, and 27 cm in depth. By adopting this vintage object, you are giving a second life to a treasure from the past. Thank you for combining sustainable decoration, history, and a gesture for the planet.
