Writing table in gilded wood and Walnut Louis VI

Office marquetry walnut in the manner of Louis VI. The carved top with a gilded leather Skiver and chamfered edges above the shaped cross-band aprons and a drawer fitted to the frieze with dovetail joint and lacquer-shaped interiors. Raised on thin Sabre legs with gilded bronze frames and clogs pierced and parades. Some surfaces Peel the French varnish on the edges of the top. France, circa 1940.
