Vintage Birch Series Secretaire by Cees Braakman for Pastoe

Very nice secretary from Cees Braakman from the famous Birch series by Pastoe. The curved birch wood legs are characteristic of this series. This beautiful cabinet can be used to store, but through the door with the handy storage compartment, this cabinet is also very usable as a desk. The new workstation that is created by opening the door can easily be used with a laptop. Very useful for people who are small housed. The compartment behind the door, which was later painted black, can be used to store papers, but can also be removed if desired. The cabinet is: 134 cm high, 88 cm wide and 30 cm deep. Condition: This case has been painted over in the past. Something that happened more often with these cabinets. We have tried to restore the cabinet to its original state, but its past remains visible. The case is slightly lighter than what you are used to from these vintage Pastoe cabinets.
