We are delighted to offer for sale this beautiful original pair of sterling silver guilloché and enamel candlesticks from 1927 by Charles Green & Co. A well-made and decorative pair, fully hallmarked 1927, with the Birmingham anchor and the lion in a lateral position for sterling silver. These types of silver and enamel candlesticks are highly collectible, as the light is captured by the enamel, emitting a beautiful glow. In terms of condition, they form a lovely pair, one is slightly shorter than the other and two panels have thinning around the edges of the enamel, the silver has beautifully tarnished in places, a sign of true age. Dimensions: height 18.5 cm, width 6.3 cm, depth 6.3 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition: wear consistent with age and use. Minor structural damage. Minor discolouration.
