Suspension Dutch Star Mid-Century by J. J. M. Hoogervorst for Anvia

Vintage design. Rare pendant lamp by Anvia designed by Dutch designer J.J.M. Hoogervorst in the 1960s. The lamp is characterised by its clear geometry. The base shape consists of two rectangular bodies rotated 45 degrees. The bodies are divided into fins and differentiated by colour in this version. Between the protruding fins, light exists or is reflected. Despite the simple shape, it produces a very complex play of light. At the same time, the fins protect the bulbs and prevent direct glare. The shape and colour scheme work well whether the lamp is on or off.
